I took a deep breath closed my eyes and began to sing the
simplest song I knew. I prayed I
wouldn’t forget any of the words, and that I wouldn’t get flat.
I managed to finish without messing up the words, I think I
stayed on key and most importantly I didn’t pass out. I kept my eyes closed the entire time,
therefore, I didn’t know if he was pleased or not. If he thought I was awful, I would only know
when I opened my eyes.
By the time I opened my eyes and lifted my head, he was up
from his seat, at my side, and whispered, “now was that so hard? You did
great,” he said as his fingers slightly graced my chin.

“Dance with me,” he said. I took his hand and started
engaging in a slow romantic dance. He
softly started gliding his hands up and down my back as we danced. I ran my
fingers through his hair, and I could feel me clutching tighter and tighter to
him. He took one of his hands from my
back and gently moved my hair from the front to the back. He passionately kissed my neck and worked his
way to my mouth. His kiss was deep, but
soft at the same time. It had a force behind it, almost like he’d been keeping
it in for months. I returned the kiss in
the same vigorous way. We were both like
magnets pulling toward each other, we could not break free.
